Agricultural sector being a base of other sectors in India is flourishing at faster pace and it can better be indicated by focusing on the figures related to agricultural sector i.e., the share of primary sector is estimated to be 20.4 per cent of the Gross Value Added (GVA) during 2016-17 at current prices and this food industry is poised for huge growth and increasing its contribution towards world food trade. India's GDP is expected to grow at 7.4 per cent1 in 2018-19. India's food grain production reached 275.68 million tons in 2016-17 and is targeted at 274.55 million tons in 2017-18. It is showing its increase in dairy production, food crop and many others and this was all possible after the change in investment pattern in the agricultural sector which has bought a great change in its productivity .There are also certain reforms which played a crucial role in changing the pattern of productivity in the sector .To study the impact of agricultural reforms on the particular sector the area selected are near lucknow which includes few districts like Sitapur, Deoria, basti and lakhimpur and Palia with the help of convenient sampling with a sample size of 200 respondents (farmers )are taken into consideration and data related to the impact of reforms has been collected with the help of scheduled questionnaires, observation and analysis is done with the help of descriptive frequency
