Image processing based crop disease detection robot

Abstract

India is agricultural country and there are too many problems which are faced by farmer. Every year, Farmer faces lots of losses due to pest infestation in crops and this affects badly to lifestyle of crops. Farm requires continuous monitoring for the best quality product from  plants. Diseases  are occurred  due to improper management of pesticides and discontinuous monitoring of the farm. It affects to both quality and quantity of the product. It is important to detect and identify the plant disease. To overcome this problem, it is important to develop such a system which continuously monitor the farm and detect the disease as quick as possible. In this paper we gave an idea about ‘AGRI-ROBO’ which contain crop disease detection. In that, image processing  technique  is used which gives quick, automatic and accurate solution to the user. The ‘AGRI-ROBO’ not only detects the disease but also spray pesticides on crops to protect them from disease. This ‘AGRI-ROBO’ find diseases on various infected leafs.
