Abstract

In this paper a Design of Low Power Low Voltage Two Stage bulk driven operational transconductance amplifier was designed with all transistors are in the sub threshold region, which allows low supply voltages with low power dissipation. The proposed amplifier was designed using recycling structure, current shunt technique, positive feedback source degeneration and indirect frequency compensation to enhance transconductance under reasonable stability. The proposed amplifier consists of composite transistors with high speed current mirrors, improved bulk driven inputstructure and feed forward compensation path. The proposed amplifier maintains good tradeoff between gain, power consumption and Unity Gain Frequency with output swing of ± Vdc.The amplifier which exhibits Unity Gain Frequency of 1.3MHz and Gain of 74dB with 1µW power consumption @ 0.4V supply which can be suitable for low power applications.This design and simulation has been carried out with the Cadence Virtuoso 90nmCMOS technology.
