Chalcones as Michael Acceptor: Synthesis of Some Benzimidazolyl Indazole Derivatives under Microwave Irradiation

Abstract




Michael condensation has been carried out for the synthesis of some 6-benzimidazolyl-4- (substitutedphenyl)-3-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-indazoles is based on microwave induced solid phase, solvent free protocol. In the present investigation, condensation has been carried out in presence of piperidine and basic alumina. The required benzimidazolyl chalcones were prepared by Claisen-Schmidt reaction under MWI irradiation.
